Well, we are coming home tomorrow. I guess it cannot completely be offical until we are actually home. At home we will be giving Josiah oral antibiotics for his urinary tract infection, continuing to tube feed at night, and he will still need a low amount of oxygen support. Eventually we will try a bottle again at home (but we will give Josiah more time to grow and hopefully he will not get so stressed as he gets older). On Thursday we will visit our pediatrition for a check up and will continue to have many doctor's appointments to be sure Josiah is doing well. I thought that Iylah had many doctor's appointments and she was a full term healthy baby. We will be at the doctor all the time with Josiah! However, that is nothing compared to living at the hospital for the last 2 1/2 months. Pray that Josiah will stay away from sickness (especially since it is peak season for RSV and the flu). The common cold would be devastating to Josiah. And we do not want to go back to the hospital. Pray that Josiah will settle well at his new home and that Iylah will deal well with this change. Pray for Craig and I as we face these new challenges together. Thank you all for your support!
I will continue to update everyone on Josiah's progress at home. We still have a long road ahead of us... of course I don't think that long road of worry ever goes away once you have children. Healthy or not, young or old, I am sure I will always worry about them.
