Back Home by 1pm

Surgery went great! Josiah recovered quickly and we were home by 1pm. He was very upset initially, and rightly so. I think he was uncomfortable, hungry, in pain and confused. The second we left his hospital room he quickly quieted down. I don't think he has the best memories with those hospital rooms. Tonight he was smiling often and playing peek-a-boo by covering his head with his blanket, then pulling it off, smiling at me, and then hiding under his blanket again.

His lumbar spine MRI showed NO tethered cord... yippy (that would have been another surgery). The results have not come back for the MRI on his head. I don't think his neurologist was there to read them today. We will call tomorrow on that.

Well thanks again for all the loving support, the words of encouragement and wisdom, and the endless prayers.
